Proposals for tutorials (of half-day 3 hours duration or full-day 6 hour duration) are solicited on conceptual and applied topics relating to the dependability, security and resilience of systems and networks. Candidate topics may be drawn from - but are not restricted to – the following example areas:
Proposals are especially encouraged from industry that provide guidance on how technology can be applied successfully in practical systems, or which demonstrate how methods, techniques and tools from one area can be exploited in another (for example dependability in support of security). Proposals are equally encouraged from academics on emergent concepts and technologies that may not be widely known to practitioners.
Video pitch: Video pitch: If your tutorial is accepted, you are welcome to additionally provide a 2-5 minute video pitch, which will be posted on the DSN2019 website as well as on other channels (e.g., Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and dedicated dependability and IEEE/IFIP channels) in advance of the conference.
Dissemination: We will create a digital copy containing all tutorial notes (no hard copies) that will be distributed to all tutorial and conference attendees. All tutorial proposals must explicitly agree to the release of the tutorial notes for this purpose.
Tutorial proposals should not exceed four pages in length and should include:
